Sharp and tough, day and night PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 18 September 2006

When it comes to high resolution surveillance, the new ZB5451IR DNR zoom bullet camera with integral infra-red LED’s from Genie CCTV has got it covered.

Housed in a tough vandal resistant casing, the camera is suitable for a wide variety of applications and delivers consistent sharp picture quality thanks to its 500 TV Lines resolution in colour and 570 TV Lines resolution in monochrome - using the on-board 33-piece IR LED assembly with CDS sensor.

It features a Sony 1/4 inch super HAD CCD image sensor and 10 x optical zoom, selectable 2, 4 or 8 x digital zoom and a mechanical IR cut filter for true day/night capability. Additional features include day/night colour to mono automatic switching, four programmable zones of privacy masking and selectable electronic shutter control, gain control, white balance and back light compensation, all accessed via the built-in ‘on screen display’ (OSD) menu.

Since low light levels can introduce both random and fixed noise onto video images, the ZB5451IR incorporates Genie’s innovative Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) technology. This delivers four levels of digital noise reduction to produce a high signal to noise ratio and help eliminate ghost effects. As a result, enhanced levels of identification are possible in low light conditions out to 20 metres. In addition, recorded file sizes can be reduced by 70% when using MPEG 4 compression.

Designed for outdoor use, the camera requires 12V DC or AC24V and is supplied in an attractive weatherproof body together with slide-on sunshield and a fully cable managed mounting bracket.
