Deister’s new GuardiX Data Collector is expected to be of particular interest to IFSEC visitors who work in the security sector. GuardiX is the latest addition to deister’s long standing Guard Tour product range. The next generation Guard Tour System from deister provides the total solution for the manned guarding industry. Its metal and rubber construction is designed for heavy use in the most difficult environments and withstands rough handling and accidental damage that other readers cannot. It uses reliable discreet contact-less checkpoints, whilst its Bluetooth ability provides real time management via standard mobile phones and pocket PC’s informing management of problems on site when they happen.
Other attractions on the deister stand include the new ipEntry products. Deister are the first company to present their vision of an IP Based open platform for an all embracing security and building management system. The system is fully user programmable in industry standard Java code, enabling each installation to be configured to suit the application need. This unique reader offers video and audio communication as well as a host of access control facilities including a multi-technology proximity card reader and biometric fingerprint identification. proxSafe is deister’s range of intelligent key management systems. These can secure large numbers of keys and valuables in a choice of modular cabinets, specifically designed to meet individual users requirements. All items are secured using contactless RFID electronic keyTags. These are designed for secure and robust placing and locking of keys in the cabinets. The contactless technology means the keyTags will never corrode or wear and are able to withstand harsh environments. The proxSafe range is operated by the proxSafe user Terminal which provides easy access for authorised users and monitors the return of items. The terminal identifies the user and verifies the key assignments. bioProx is a range of class leading biometric identification devices which provide real life access control through fingerprint recognition. They are setting new standards in flexibility, reliability and simplicity through the combination of biometrics with a proximity reader. Supporting Wiegand or Magstripe emulation, and featuring a TCP/IP interface for management control and future expansion, it is possible for any organisation to easily integrate bioProx into its existing access control system.
