Crimestoppers appeals for calls about gun crime |

Crimestoppers is appealing to communities around the UK with a new campaign against gun crime.
Crimestoppers is asking for anyone with information about people who have guns, that are being used for criminal activity, whether they are imitation or real – to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers will not ask for any information about you and they do not record or trace calls – they only want to know what you know, not who you are. You will not have to give evidence in court. Information you give Crimestoppers will be passed on to the police and could help get one more gun off the streets. The campaign will run in 13 regions across the UK from 27 March – 21 April 2006.
