Ron Lindsay MBE appointed non-executive for G4S Security Services (UK) PDF Print E-mail

G4S Security Services (UK), part of Group 4 Securicor plc, the leading international provider of security services today announced the appointment of Ron Lindsay in a non-executive role. Working for the company’s Aviation division, Mr Lindsay will be responsible for strengthening relationships within key industry bodies and assessing the impact of EU regulation on aviation security. He will also be tasked with seeking out new streams of business activity and further developing the Aviation division’s resilience.

Ron Lindsay has a prolific career in the aviation security industry. He joins G4S Security Services (UK) from British Airways where he was Head of Aviation Security.  He was appointed to this role in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, which marked the worst period of terrorist threat in the company’s history. Prior to this he was Senior Manager of Ground Operations Compliance and Senior Manager of Emergency Planning and Operational Performance. Martin Aggar, Managing Director - Aviation, G4S Security Services (UK) commented:

Ron Lindsay was awarded an M.B.E in H.M. The Queen’s Birthday Honours in November 1992 for “Services to Aviation”.
